This is from 爾雅, which is a very varied world, this part of it is like the David Spade comedy on tv a few years ago. Star Trek, sports documentaries, reggae videos, it's all there, if it's good today it was good 1000 years ago. Or whatever.

Elegance in a Squall: Bud Selig and the Philly Tampa Weather Breaks
Looking at [1], we see two somewhat related bodies of scholarly work.

Looking further we see that the "Elegance" sections are named "釋", makes me think of a person who has buried him or herself in the food of life. And the Mini Elegance sections are named "廣" or "broad, generalized", something like "horizon". The Wikiarticle [2] has a nice picture of a book:
In reading the title, one gets to thinking of how one might hear from one's parents or guardians about how wouldn't succeed in something difficult in life, in this case that of maybe working on a ship, when in fact working on a ship is just like living in a house with strict parents. It's metaphoric.

Is politics more important than sports? Maybe.
The original title of this blog seemed quite vituperative in a fake-feminist way, so I changed it so I wouldn't draw attention to myself. What was that title? Let's just say that Mr Accountable is a person who sees a great difference between being literate in Chinese, and being not literate in Chinese.
As for politics, Mr Accountable is a "Conservative for Obama" who believes that Barack Obama as president could be so very good for America. Please give it some thought, and I hope you vote for Obama.
And, finally, Mr Accountable believes that the liberal media, in their choleric enthusiasm, are capable of overdoing it, vis a vis the run-up to the November 4 election, and are perfectly capable of creating an antithetical, anti-common sense emotion among the people, among the erstwhile voters. Because the fact of the matter is that, President McCain would be a good president as well, and America has voted so close to 50-50 the last two times.
As per R.E.M., will we all see:
Followers of chaos out of control?
or
Green grow, the rushes grow.....
I hope it's the latter.

So be it, if I ran a network medical show I might try to actually explain a little medicine instead of coaching the actors to be very self-empowered about the difficult and sometimes uncomfortable medical dialogue material. The self-empowered self-nature is an important part of doctoring, the show so repeatedly presents this self-nature, and ER definitely falls into the Mohist category. But then again so do many Butthole Surfer songs: "I saw an x-ray of a girl, passing gas". Populist professionalist, professional populist, it's all very good.
